Aaos - Often shadowed under another name, Aaos is a demigod whose touch is often felt but never seen as it moves towards its ultimate goal: the entropic collapse and destruction of the Multiverse. Aaos is a diverse and accomplished puppeteer, manipulating and corrupting with the sheer will of its mind from a limbo-like prison where it was bound in the dim past by other gods.

Abbey of Stopped Time - An ancient monastery said frozen in time by the Time Lords to stop a cabal of Runeweavers from casting a High Rune of Devastation. Occasionally stumbled upon, the few travelers said to have visited it claim the runeweavers are still living but have taken on a monk-like life. Also credited as experts of odd lore and, of course, of the past. Supposedly found at the base of the Heaven Wall Mountains where it meets the Withered Lands.

Abbraxadon - Once among the mightiest of deities, Abbraxadon is now regulated to little more than a demigod and rapidly fading beyond this degree of power.  His once great following of people is now few in number and influence, regulated to the border areas of the jungles of the Green Hell and little in great numbers elsewhere.  The Father of All Demons is credited as the sire to all current demonic entities, including the Greater Demons.  While this is likely untrue in the physical sense, all demons, including the Greater ones, grudgingly show Abbraxadon a certain amount of subservience.  There is the possibility that Abbraxadon was the first true demonic entity to bridge the nexus to Khaas during the inchoate past and headed the early domination of Khaas by demonic entities.  If this were true, it would explain the certain reverence (and hatred) demonic beings in general have for Abbraxadon.  While Swamp Saurig, Humans, and Orcs constitute the great bulk of its membership, any who find delight in chaos, tenderness in the despicable, and love with the macabre truly have a place with Abbraxadon.

Accords of Arduin - the treaty between nations that formally ended the Nexus Wars and defined not only the new country of Arduin but also formalized how the Arduin Nexus would be governed.  It was created by all the nations to end the surnamed Nexus Wars and keep the world from falling into ruin.

Adjuren Disaster - this is a reference to the summoning of a Hellflash by Adjuren in the town of Glisianoc on the border of Falohyr.  Its end result was the decimation of much of the population of the town, Adjuren’s death (last seen in the bowels of the demon), and a toppling of the temple to the Earth Mother.

Adrailese - recently made queen who shook off Chrysolian rule and re-established Dallasta.

Aefimir - Also called the golden one, the living gem and other titles that indicated the presence of the softly glowing gems embedded in his body.  More than skin deep, over 888 shards pierced his body, some several inches long, others barely discernable by the eye.  They are what was the living embodiment of his magik power made into physical form.  He will tell the tale from time to time, when he and nine others tested themselves in the Balewyrd Pith.  It was there, on the airless shattered moon that ringed the place, unknown powers forged his magic into substance.  And on the surface of the world below, the unseen blow that shattered it.  It was only the force of his will and determination that allowed him to regain his arcane power.  Though in the trade he became something less human.

Aegyptian Pantheon - Primarily Humans follow these deities, though adherents from some other races exist as well.  This religious pantheon is a crossover from the terrestrial world and truly runs the range of all the earthly gods and goddess of the Aegyptian pantheon with all their differences and attributes.  While not very numerous or powerful outside of Viruelandiaa, where they have some influence and not a some amount of power, they are widespread and tend to have a ‘high-profile’.

Aeolia - An older transplanted deity that once was revered as the Master of Wind and Wave in Khaas.  Legends say Borsala and Boreas welded their powers together in order to destroy this god, creating the Sulubalu Hell Froth in the process.  The tale of the battle between the three is related fully in the Walk of Mothormortis.

Alazahr - Alazahr is a wild land where fierce ocean winds have created a mix of barren land and wet, salty moors / fens rife with salt grasses and heavy undergrowth.  While there are a few forests in areas where there is a windbreak, for the most part the patchwork land makes it arduous to travel.  It shears the nation into several regions tied together only by the sea and the great sprawling length of the Ennyoth River.

Anvil of the Sun - dry desert region of Khaora north of the Sun Fire Mountains

Aradnast - Aradnast is a complex nation of not only two vastly differing geographic regions but of widely varying races, outlooks and cultures.  The kingdom is tied together due to historical ties than a singular sense of community.  And more often than not acts independently as several smaller nations within an aggregate.

The drive to battle and competition is as much for conquest as it is to still the primal urge for conflict in their blood. The country's history lies in the past of Avelda the Proud (of the Seiguen-La line). Avelda was one of the fiercest contestants for control of island of Aldoré until she was betrayed from within, and forced to flee down the Finback Gap. She fled on ships with followers, harking to some unknown guide the whole time, standing at the prow. What magik she worked is unknown, but when she beached her ships at the edge of the Salnyx Mountains, they were waiting. Winged women, fierce of demeanor and proud, waited for her with weapons of power. When the quickly following ships of enemy arrived, they found their doom in blazing fires from the sky and a white rain that slew all it touched.
