Quarl - Leopard to lion sized six-legged feline with two large, tusk-like saber teeth and one blazing red cyclopic eye. Its velvety black fur is high prized and valued at 300 to 600 GS for a single pelt.

Quartermass - Large town in the southern plains of Arduin.

Quartzo - Owner of the Wanton Wing, general rogue, thief, and back ally merchant.

Quawima - Ancient people that dominated the southern portion of Khaora.

Quawima Empire - the defunct, southern empire on Khaora that stretched deep into what is modern day Viruelandia in the west to well past Alazahr in the north. Their empire began its decline sometime around the Interstellar Wars and their devastation and was hastened by the Pandoori into extinction.

Quorn Mountains - Mountain chain in Malgoreem.

Quotara-la - This Duchess and Amazonian General was one of the primary claimants to the Mist Wind Throne in the Misty Isles during the Misty Mountain Wars. She was opposed greatly by Avelda but eventually was able to take her stronghold by surprise and force her to flee the Misty Isles. Quotara-la committed the greater portion of her fleet to chasing down Avelda and lost great power and standing when Avelda managed to annihilate the entire fleet on the coast of the mainland. Sworn to see Avelda's death and disembowelment at the altars high on Mist Finger Mountain, Quotara-la's bitter fate was to take her place. Her death and Avelda's downfall from power allowed the soon-to-be Queen Lysippl to consolidate her power and bring the isles under her control.

Qwain - Six days comprise a week, usually called a Sixday or Zedra. The individual days of the Zedra are Mordag, Taenwal, Wurdigan, Veldoar, Sarmaht, and Qwain, in that order.
